Undercover’s Autumn/Winter 2006 “Guru Guru” was one of Jun Takahashi’s most unsettling early‑2000s presentations, with models obscured by jewel‑wrapped headdresses, chains, and studded veils that created an eerie, hostage‑like atmosphere. The season played heavily with restriction and spiraling tension—built‑in scarves coiling around the body, elongated sleeves reminiscent of bondage garments, and silhouettes that felt like they belong on a Silent Hill monster. Despite the sinister staging, the clothing itself remained sharply wearable, blending punk streetwear elements with tailored runway construction. It’s a collection widely regarded as Takahashi at his early peak, and pieces from AW06 have become some of the most sought‑after in Undercover’s archive.

This sweater follows that language with a black wool body contrasted by a white shirt collar and cuffs, creating a hybrid shirt‑sweater silhouette. The front and back feature the collection’s signature intersecting stitched pattern, giving the piece a subtle but distinct texture.
